We met these falls during a 10-day backpack in the Absaroka Mountains, northeast of Yellowstone National Park. We had a wonderful, private, riverside camp just below these falls. Here, Jim and Don went fishing, while Maggie and I relaxed before dinner. This area rates in my mind as the most beautiful and peaceful part of the whole hike.
